    Description

Who Framed Roger Rabbit Eddie and Roger Production Cel with Color Photo Background (Touchstone/Amblin, 1988). Eddie Valiant is surprised to find Roger Rabbit in his bed, hiding from the Weasels. A worried Eddie wants to know if anyone knows that Roger is in Eddie's office. Roger Rabbit replies, "Well, you see... I didn't know where your office was, so I asked the newsboy... He didn't know, so I asked the fireman, the butcher, the baker. They didn't know!" This is an outstanding hand-painted production cel of Roger Rabbit on a color background. This was originally Lot 366A in the historic New York City auction of "The Art of Roger Rabbit" held on June 28, 1989. Roger is a great full figure image of 5". Framed with a mat opening of 17" x 10", in a glass-front frame measuring 21" x 14". This had been part of a two-cel progression. Color backgrounds from the New York auction are considered very rare and hard to find. Fine condition.
