    Water Babies Production Cel with Painted Background (Walt Disney, 1935). This beloved and elaborate Silly Symphony short was directed by Wilfred Jackson. It was released on 5/11/35. It was so popular a sequel, "Merbabies" was made in 1938. This is a rare hand-inked, hand-painted production cel of Water Babies in the Frog Rodeo. This scene can be found around the 4:04 mark. This great cel with smoke effects has three Frog/Water Baby rodeo riders. Great images, with sizes of 4" - 6". The cel is on a custom hand-painted background, added for presentation purposes. This rare production cel is matted with an opening of 12" x 9", and framed with glass for an overall size of 22" x 18". Frame is sold as-is; cel setup is in Very Good condition.
