Description

Walt Disney Studios - Donald Duck Animation Production Drawing Original Art (Walt Disney, circa 1938). By the late 1930s, Donald Duck was Walt Disney's star, and in many ways he'd be the pop culture face of the second World War. The popularity of Mickey Mouse had already been eclipsed by the comically irascible Donald Duck. This pencil drawing was possibly created for the Oscar-nominated 1938 short, "Good Scouts," featuring Donald and his nephews camping at Yellowstone National Park. As Donald tries to instill good scouting skills to the boys, one mishap after another occurs. Drawn in graphite on a 12" x 10" sheet of animation paper, this art has some light aging, some minimal edge wear, and a crease at the upper left corner; otherwise the condition is Very Good.
