    Walt Disney's Treasury: 21 Best-Loved Stories Cinderella Pages 45 and 48 Illustrations by Campbell Grant Original Art Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1953). The classic story of Cinderella has been told and retold many times, but Disney's 1950 animated feature is perhaps the ultimate version. Here are two storybook illustrations by Disney artist Campbell Grant (1909 - 1992) that are very faithful to the movie. The first shows Cinderella crying as the coach containing her cruel stepmother Lady Tremaine and her two ugly daughters heads for the Royal Ball. With Cinderella is her loyal animal friends, including the mice Gus and Jaq. The image size is approximately 8.25" x 5.5". The second illustration is a real gem - the Grand Duke has just put the glass slipper on Cinderella's dainty foot. Image size is 8" x 6.25". The art is painted in gouache on lightweight board, which both have some light glue residue on back. Color prints of the book's front cover and table of contents pages are included for reference. Overall condition is Very Good, with minor handling wear.
