    Walt Disney's Treasure Chest Storybook Contents Page Illustration Original Art (Walt Disney/Simon & Schuster, 1948). This 1948 Disney storybook boasted great artwork (including a cover by the one and only Mary Blair). Here is the original artwork for the table of contents page, featuring eleven classic characters. The Three Little Pigs, Mickey Mouse as the Sorcerer's Apprentice from Fantasia, Toby Tortoise from The Tortoise and the Hare, The Flying Mouse, a grasshopper from The Woodland Café, Donald Duck, Pablo the Penguin from The Three Caballeros, Minnie Mouse from Ye Olden Days, the City Mouse from The Country Cousin, the Old Mill, the Flying Gauchito from The Three Caballeros, and Pedro the Little Airplane from Saludos Amigos all appear in this charming page. The art is in ink and Conté crayon on illustration board measuring 10.5" x 13.75"; image area is approximately 7.5" x 9.25". Printouts of the book's cover and contents page are also included. The artboard shows some top layer paper buckling caused by moisture, but the actual image is unaffected. Board also shows mild toning. Very Good condition.
