    Virgil Ross - Oswald the Lucky Rabbit and Lion Drawing (Walter Lantz, c. 1990s). Mickey is on the run from a ferocious lion in this original drawing by legendary animator Virgil Ross (1907 - 1996). Mr Ross is know best for his work at Warner brothers studios, but got his start in the early days of animation with studios such as Charles Mintz, Ub Iwerks and Walter Lantz. He animated on three Academy Award-winning shorts and is a recipient of the Motion Picture Screen Cartoonists Golden Award. This is an original one-of-a-kind Virgil Ross drawing of Oswald the lucky Rabbit rendered in graphite and colored pencil on 12 field 3-peghole animation paper and signed by the artist. The 6.5" x 11" image practically fills the page. The paper shows light handling and condition is Fine.
