    Virgil Ross - Bugs Bunny Drawing (Warner Brothers, c. 1990s). Bugs tickles the ivories in this splendid drawing, inspired by the 1946 Merrie Melodies short, Rhapsody Rabbit; directed by Friz Freleng. It was one of many shorts that Virgil Ross (1907 - 1996) worked on as an animator at Warner Brothers. Mr. Ross worked for several other major studios, including Hanna-Barbera and Filmation. In 1988 he was the recipient of the prestigious Windsor McCay award. This original drawing of Bugs fills the 12 field animation paper that it's on and is signed by Virgil Ross. Minor handling, condition is Very Good.
