Unexpected Pest Sylvester the Cat Production Cel (Warner Brothers, 1956). "I gotta get a mouse to keep my happy home!" says Sylvester to himself after hearing his owners, John and Marsha (a Stan Freberg record reference), complain about their lazy cat. This short was directed by Robert McKimson, written by Warren Foster, and released on 6/2/56. This is a 12 field, hand-inked, hand-painted production cel of Sylvester and one of the curtains from the scene where he runs to the window. You can see this exact image around the 1:25 minute mark in the short. It's a fabulous, full figure Sylvester with spit effects measuring 6" tall. The number 43 is inked in the right corner. All 1950s Looney Tunes production cels are considered very rare and this is easily one of the best pure Sylvester cels from that era we have ever come across. It is on a print background for presentation purposes. Condition is Very Good.
