Two-Gun Mickey Mickey Mouse Production Cel with Painted Production Background (Walt Disney, 1932-34). If there is a holy grail to Disney animation art, it's the elusive black and white Mickey Mouse nitrate production cel. This is a rare, outstanding 12 field 2-peghole hand-inked, hand-painted black and white production cel of Mickey Mouse from Two-Gun Mickey. This short is considered one of Mickey's greatest films. It starred Minnie Mouse and Bandit Peg-Leg Pete, and was directed by Ben Sharpsteen, released on 12/15/34. This scene is at the 6:06 mark, when Mickey is having a shoot-out on a cliff with Peg-Leg Pete's bandits. This is a full nitrate cel! Mickey is a great full-figure image of 5". The cel is on a rare black and white Disney production background from the Silly Symphony short Bears and Bees. This short was directed by Wilfred Jackson and was released on 3/12/32. It can be seen with the baby bears and angry berry-eating bear at the 2:12 mark. This is a full 12 field 2-peghole production background, measuring 11" x 9.5". In the bottom border is written Scene 11A Ben (Reeves). The background works well with the nitrate cel of Mickey. Very Good condition.
