DescriptionTRON Concept Sketch by Moebius and Peter Lloyd with Screen Grabs Group of 7 (Walt Disney, 1982). Here is a terrific selection of six studio screen grabs, photographs, and a great piece of concept art from Walt Disney's science fiction hybrid film, TRON. The concept art was initially drawn by Jean "Moebius" Giraud. A print of the sketch was made and artist, Peter Lloyd (1944 – 2009) hand colored the 5.5" x 7.5" piece and affixed it to a larger 7" x 9" card. Jean Giraud was a French cartoonist and, artist and writer who garnered worldwide acclaim under the pseudonym Moebius. Peter Lloyd was a well-known English illustrator who specialized in digital artwork and later worked extensively with the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum on the 1996 IMAX documentary Cosmic Voyage. The screen grabs and photos in this lot measures 6.5" x 3" up to 19" x 10". This is an amazing assortment that comes in the original studio storage box used for archiving materials from the film. The concept piece has pin holes in the corners from production use. Overall condition is Very Good.
