Description

Trader Mickey Mickey Mouse Animation Drawing Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1932). Mickey Mouse and the chief of a cannibal tribe share a musical moment together in this scene from 1932 short Trader Mickey! The cannibals are planning to eat Mickey at first, but Mickey Mouse manages to win their favor by putting on a spontaneous music performance. The chief accidentally swallows Mickey's harmonica, but the two discover that he can still make music with it. This wonderful set of two animation drawings shows Mickey Mouse and the chief as they jam out to the harmonica music in a moment that can be seen at about the 4:29 mark of the short. The drawings are marked in their lower right with 102 and 1X, and one of the drawings contains notes for the Ink and Paint Department. These drawings are created with graphite and colored pencils on 12 field, 2-peghole animation paper. The condition of these lively drawings is Very Good, with just minor handling and edge wear and some age-related toning.
