To Hare is Human Bugs Bunny and Wile E. Coyote Studio Model Sheet Print (Warner Brothers, 1956). "Wile E. Coyote... Genius; Have Brain/Will Travel" says the business card that Wile E. hands to Bugs in the opening of this short. This is the second pairing of Wile E. Coyote and Bugs Bunny. They would make five theatrical shorts together. This one was directed by Chuck Jones and written by Mike Maltese, released to theaters on 12/15/56. This is a historic short, as it was the final cartoon made at the famous "Termite Terrace" studio, before the studio was moved to Burbank. This is a rare Warner Brothers Studio Ink and Paint Department Model Sheet print for this short, with all the major color call out codes on it. Model Sheets are important documents to the animation process, and are highly collectible. This is a Master Model Sheet as the characters are hand-colored. As a bonus, the sheet is hand-signed by Mr. Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002). Model Sheets for vintage Warner Brothers shorts are very scarce. This fantastic piece is matted with an opening size of 10.5" x 8.5", in an overall mat size of 19" x 17". Lift the mat, and you will see a list of possible song selections handwritten on the back, including "Bessie on the Old Porch Swing," "Alice Blue Gown," and "Yellow Rose of Texas." Bugs and Wile E. are 7" and 5" respectively. Minor handling and edge wear. Very Good condition.
