Tin Can Tourist Farmer Al Falfa Title Card Illustration (Terrytoons/Castle Films, c. 1950s). Vintage animation fans, take note! Farmer Al Falfa and his new house trailer are being pulled by a car driven by Puddy the Pup in painted artwork used (with added lettering) in a reissue print of this 1937 Terrytoons short. It was directed by Manny Davis and George Gordon, first shown in theaters on 1/22/37; this version can be currently seen on YouTube. The art is by a Paul Terry Studio staff artist, painted in gouache on board, and matted with an opening measuring 13" x 10". It's framed with Plexiglas for an overall size of 20.5" x 18". ANY Farmer Al Falfa art is very rare; this is one of the only pieces like this we've seen to date! Very Good condition.
