Description

Timber Donald Duck and Pete Animation Drawings Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1941). In Walt Disney's 1941 short subject film, Timber, Donald Duck steals Pete's supper, so Pete puts him to work as a lumberjack to work for his food. Donald is an acutely inept lumberjack, a job he does not exactly relish. After several mishaps, Pete chases Donald on railroad handcars. Timber was directed by Jack King, released on 1/10/41, and features the voice talents of Clarence Nash as Donald Duck and Billy Bletcher as Pete. These are two fantastic vintage drawings of Donald Duck and Pete which can be seen around the 1:18 mark after Donald takes an ear of corn from Pete's supper table. The image of Donald, measuring 4", Pete measures about 6", both pieces are hand-drawn with graphite on 12 field 5-peghole animation paper. Condition is Very Good.
