Description

The Yogi Bear Show Production Title Cel and Key Master Background Setup with Production Title Sheet (Hanna-Barbera, 1961). Yogi Bear was introduced in 1958 as a member of The Huckleberry Hound Show. His popularity soared and in 1961 he was given his own show on 1/30/61. This is an outstanding hand-inked, hand-painted title cel for the episode "Home-Sweet Jellystone". It was the 11th episode in the first season and originally aired on 4/10/61. The episode was about Ranger Smith getting a large inheritance with a mansion and moving out of Jellystone Park! This is the original two-layer title cel on its Key Master hand-painted background. It is "OK"-ed on the bottom border by Joe Barbera. The Main Title sheet is also included, with the filled-out production credits for the episode, Production #E-134. The reference to this being "An H-B Enterprises Cartoon" is crossed out and changed to "A Hanna-Barbera Production". An historic piece, and in Fine condition.
