Description

The Worm Turns Mickey Mouse Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1937). "Hot dog! It works!" says scientist Mickey as he concocts his "Courage Builder" potion in his rather sinister-looking underground lab. Directed by Ben Sharpsteen, this theatrical short was released on 1/2/37. Disney greats Ham Luske and Woolie Reitherman both contributed to the animation. Offered in this lot is an original production drawing of Mickey dressed in a lab coat and rubber gloves which can be seen around the 01:40 mark in the film. The 3" x 4" image is rendered in graphite and red pencil on 12 field, 5-peghole animation paper. Age-related toning. Very Good condition.
