    Description

The Whoopee Party Mickey Mouse Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1932). No one throws a wackier party than Mickey and this Wilfred Jackson-directed short film is proof of that. It was released on 9/17/32 and features Walt Disney as the voice of Mickey Mouse. When Mickey and friends have a house party, Minnie plays the piano as the guests dance. Meanwhile Mickey, Goofy, and Horace Horsecollar prepare snacks and refreshments, which are brought out to much fanfare and ballyhoo. Here at the 2:16 mark Mickey, with coffee pot on his head, trumpets the arrival of the chow and the feast is on. The 6" x 4.5" full-figure image is rendered in graphite and colored pencil on 12 field 2-peghole animation paper marked 26 in the lower right corner. It shows has minor handling and slight toning of the paper due to aging. The artwork is in Fine condition.
