    Description

The Whoopee Party Mickey Mouse Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1932). In this short directed by Wilfred Jackson, Mickey Mouse and friends have a party in which everyone periodically stops and shouts WHOOPEE! This scene, around the 1:00 minute mark, involves Mickey, Goofy (then called Dippy Dawg), and Horace Horsecollar preparing some snacks for their guests; Mickey is slicing ham as if he were playing the fiddle. It's a very early production drawing of Mickey in full-figure, measuring 4" x 4.5". He is rendered in graphite and red pencil on 12-field, 2-peghole animation paper with the number 73 in the lower right corner. The paper shows minor handling and edge wear; otherwise is in Fine condition.
