DescriptionThe Three Caballeros José Carioca Animation Drawing/Color Model(Walt Disney, 1944). It's four Joses in one incredible animation drawing from the 1944 Disney package film The Three Caballeros. This image appears at the 27:32 mark José Carioca, who managed to split himself into four while demonstrating the various dances of his beloved home of Brazil. This particular animation drawing is not only unique because of its repetitive imagery, but also because it is a color model drawing. Disney's ink and paint department chose the the best drawings from which to make models. The 7.5" x 6" drawing of the Joses is accompanied by extensive notations and studio stamps resulting in a particularly rare one-of-a-kind piece. This film mixed live-action with animation and therefore there is far fewer drawings and cels used that on a fully animated movie. Artwork, especially of this quality, is very rare. The piece shows handling and condition is Very Good.
