    Description

The Simpsons (Tracey Ullman Show) Bart, Lisa, and Maggie Production Cel and Key Master Background Setup (Fox, 1988). A hand-painted production cel setup of Bart, Lisa, and Maggie Simpson on the Key Master, hand-painted production background. Note that The Simpsons had their backgrounds painted on cels. This setup is from the "Skateboarding" episode, in which Bart shows off on his skateboard, only to be outdone by both Lisa and Maggie. This show aired on The Tracey Ullman Show and was the 14th episode of season 2 (February, 1988) and was ONLY the 21st overall Simpsons episode ever to run. Gnarly images of 2" to 4", man! A very rare and early Simpson Key Master setup! A pure piece of Simpson history, in Fine condition.

I have done a preliminary analysis and the total of the hammer prices was $67,550. With BP, the final figure was $80,722.25. That is against the total insurance value of $34,785 or 2.32 x ‘pre-auction estimate’. Incredible, really, so a big thanks.
