The Simpsons Springfield Townsfolk Pan Production Cel Setup (Fox, 1990). When Bart cuts off the head of Jebediah Springfield's statue, the enraged townsfolk begin to riot. This original production cel setup from Season 1 Episode 8 features a host of Springfield's residents waving bats and torches in pursuit of Bart and Homer. The artwork measures a staggering 18.5" x 10" on a 21" x 10.5" pan production setup. It's a remarkable compilation comprised of four cels featuring early Simpsons characters, some of which have passed on. This is easily one of the most impressive Simpsons production cel setups we have ever offered. The art shows minor handling and condition is Very Good.

I have done a preliminary analysis and the total of the hammer prices was $67,550. With BP, the final figure was $80,722.25. That is against the total insurance value of $34,785 or 2.32 x ‘pre-auction estimate’. Incredible, really, so a big thanks.
