The Simpsons Marge, Lisa, Maggie and Bart Production Cel Setup (20th Century Fox, 1990). "Bart, I want you to promise me you'll pay attention in Sunday school." Already failing Marge's wishes, Bart doesn't hear a word of her request. This is a wonderful hand-painted production cel setup of the Simpsons making their way to church, seen at the 4:27 mark of the eighth episode of the first season, "The Telltale Head." This classic episode focuses on Bart after he removes the head of the town's Jebediah Springfield memorial statue to impress the older kids he admires. Having horrified the entire town (including the older kids) Bart's guilt challenges him to muster up the courage to come clean about his actions. This 3-cel setup features a great image of four characters in full figure, measuring 7" x 7.25" on the 12 field cels. They are presented on a printed background for presentation purposes, and they come with a 20th Century Fox seal and certificate of authenticity. Minor handling wear, and the condition overall is Very Good.
