The Simpsons "Girly Edition" Kwik-E-Mart Production Background (Fox, 1998). Bart and Lisa anchor Kidz Newz while Homer takes on a Helper Monkey to assist him with his laziness in episode 5 of season 6. This is an original hand-painted production cel of the Kwik-E-Mart that appears at the 05:02 mark. It was released through Fox Studio's "Collector's Portfolio" program. Following the initial limited release of production art at a New York auction in 1992, The Simpsons Animation Art Program began releasing only 100 one-of-a-kind production setups from the Fox archives each year. They are regarded by collectors as some the finest and rarest Simpson production art available today and seldom come up for sale. This hand-painted 12 field background cel featuring Springfield's iconic convenience store is marked 5F15 SC52 BG52 and bears a Fox seal and serial number in the lower left corner. It comes with a matching Certificate of Authenticity with serial number 5F15-CPBG-D2486. It's a fantastic image that any Simpson fan can appreciate. Condition is Very Good.
