    Description

The Simple Things Mickey Mouse Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1953). This is a historic original hand-inked, hand-painted production cel of Mickey Mouse from his last regular series theatrical short. He would not appear on the big screen again until 1983's Mickey's Christmas Carol. In this Charles Nichols-directed short, Mickey and Pluto have their fishing trip constantly interrupted by a pesky seagull, who is after Mickey's bait and Pluto's hot dog lunch. The image can be seen at the 3:56 mark, right after Mickey baits his hook. Great adorable pose of Mickey with his fishing pole, with an image size of 5". The cel is placed on a print background, for presentation purposes. Matted with an opening size of 11" x 9", and framed with glass for an overall size of 17" x 14.5". Fine condition.
