The Secret of NIMH Mrs. Brisby and Jenner Production Cel Setup on Production Background (Don Bluth, 1982) "It would be an honor to assist Jonathan's widow in any way" says the evil rat Jenner at the 44:25 mark in Don Bluth's directorial debut feature film. This is an original hand-painted production cel setup featuring full-body images of both the hero and the villain of this story as they meet for the first time. The overall image measures 7" x 11.5 on a 12 field 2-cel setup. It's a magnificent image of a Key Scene in the movie. The setup us over an original watercolor concept painting from the film signed by noted background artist Nino Carbe (1909 - 1993) and labeled "Secret of Nimh" on the back. He worked for several studios over his career including Disney, Walter Lantz, Hanna-Barbera and others. The cels and background work wonderfully together. The art is framed under Plexiglas with a mat opening of 10" x 12" in a 15" x 17" frame with a Don Bluth Studio foil seal on back. Condition is Fine. Frame is sold as-is.
