DescriptionThe Practical Pig Big Bad Wolf Animation Drawings Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1939). "Who's there?" asks the Practical Pig. "Messenger boy, with a message" says the disguised Big Bad Wolf! This was the last of the "Three Little Pigs" Silly Symphony shorts. It was directed by Dick Rickard and released on 2/24/39. This is a great lot. It has a 12 field 5-peghole painted Color Model drawing of the Big Bad Wolf as the Messenger Boy delivering the letter from the two brother pigs asking for help, and for Practical Pig to save them. Great painting with an image of 4", studio stamped Color Model. Also in the lot is a rare 12 field 5-peghole animation drawing of the Big Bad Wolf as the Messenger Boy. This is after he has delivered the letter and waiting for the door to open, to grab the Practical Pig and throw him in his sack. This scene of both can be found around the 4:23 mark. Great image on this drawing, with a size of 6". Rare to have an almost matched set of Color Model and animation drawing. Minor handling and edge wear. Tiny tear in bottom right corner, and slight tear on top right corner, nowhere near images on Color Model painting. Very Good condition.
