The Pet Store Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1933). Pet Store owner Tony asks Mickey Mouse to watch his shop while he goes out to lunch. Minnie arrives and dances with Mickey, but when Beppo the gorilla breaks out of his cage, a parody of King Kong ensues, with Minnie as Fay Wray! Wilfred Jackson directed this short and it was released on 10/28/33; King Kong came out earlier that same year. This is an outstanding 12 field 2-peghole animation drawing of Mickey dancing and whistling with Minnie Mouse in the Pet Store. You can see it around the 3:45 mark. Adorable graphite images of 4". One of the best vintage Mickey and Minnie animation drawings we have seen to date. Minor handling and edge wear; Fine condition.
