Description
The New Batman Adventures Robin Production Cel with Key Master Background (Warner Brothers, c. 1997-99). "The computer just picked up an alarm at the Sharp Alert car locator factory." Robin sends a communication to Batman in the New Batman Adventures episode "Animal Act". Seen at the 6:46 mark of the episode, this is a spectacular hand-painted original production cel featuring Tim Drake as Robin. Taped to its Key Master Background rendered masterfully in gouache on background board, the piece bears a Warner Brothers seal and is accompanied by a Warner Brothers Certificate of Authenticity. A protective overlay cel is taped between the production cel and the background, and the 13" x 9.25" piece shows minor handling and edge wear from normal production use. The background's edges show trimming, and the top edge is trimmed to accommodate pegholes. The piece as a whole shows minor handling and edge wear, and the condition is Very Good.Auction Info
