Description

The New Alice in Wonderland Fred and Barney Production Cel (Hanna-Barbera, 1966). The full title of this TV special was The New Alice In Wonderland (Or, What's a Nice Kid Like You Doing In a Place Like This?). It premiered on 3-30-66. The special boasted an all-star cast of Hanna-Barbera talent and characters retelling the story of Alice in Wonderland. Here we have a very rare hand-painted cel featuring both Fred Flintstone and his little buddy Barney Rubble as the two-headed Caterpillar vaudevillian act. This is from their musical number, "They'll Never Split Us Apart." Notice that Fred still wears a similar tie and Barney has a lace-up front on his shirt. A nice image of 5.5" x 5.5" on a 12 field 3-peghole cel, placed on a print background for presentation purposes. In Fine condition.
