The Mickey Mouse Club Host Mickey Mouse Production Cel Group of 5 (Walt Disney, 1955). This fun lot is a real piece of Disney history. The Mickey Mouse Club debuted on October 3, 1955 on ABC. Each day of the week, Mickey Mouse introduced the daily theme. Monday was "Fun with Music Day," Tuesday was "Guest Star Day," Wednesday was "Anything Can Happen Day," Thursday was "Circus Day," and Friday was "Talent Round-Up Day." Mickey introduced each day's theme in a different outfit. For Monday, he was in his tuxedo playing musical instruments; Tuesday in striped coat, straw hat and cane; Wednesday in a purple Sorcerer's Apprentice outfit; Thursday as a Circus performer; and Friday as a cowboy. Here is a set of five hand-inked, hand-painted production cels of Mickey Mouse in each day's themed outfit. Cels are trimmed to 12" x 9" and in mats measuring 14" x 11". All are great full-figure images of 4" - 6". This is the only time we have seen a complete set of Mickey Mouse Days of the Week production cels ever offered together! Each one is over 60 years old each! Minor handling wear. overall Very Good condition. Let's all sing together -- M-I-C, K-E-Y...
