The Marvel Super Heroes Sub-Mariner Inked Animation Drawings and Prints Group of 4 (Marvel/Grantray-Lawrence Animation, 1966). Marvel's first animated series aimed for a look that was consistent with comic book panel images, but also requiring very limited animation. To achieve that look, inked animation drawings were shot, with small areas animated. Here are two 12 field images from a Prince Namor the Sub-Mariner episode with ink and blue pencil art; a close-up of Namor with arms folded (7" x 8"); and Lady Dorma by a window (6" x 8" inked image with additional blue pencil art). Also included is a close-up of a blonde woman on a 12 field cel, with a reduced-size paper print (both cel and paper are printed, not hand-inked); image sizes are 9.5" x 8.5" and 7.25" x 6.5". Drawings are in Very Good condition; cel image is Good with some scratches.
