Description

The Mail Pilot Mickey Mouse Finale Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1933). Heroic Mickey saves the day in this amazing original 2-peghole 12-field animation drawing from the finale of this classic short, directed by David Hand and released to theaters on 6/13/1933. In the short, after battling the snowy elements and villainous mail bandit Pete, Mickey delivers to Minnie the chest of money entrusted to him. Mickey stands triumphant, carried aloft within his totally stripped airplane (wings and all) in this dynamic drawing, which is from the 7:05 mark in online viewings. This tight graphite image has an overall approximate size of 9.5" x 7", and is noted in the lower right corner with the sequence number 23. The art is in Fair to Good condition, with some brittleness and tears along the top edge, none of which touch the image.
