The Mail Pilot Mickey Mouse Dessin d'Animation (Walt Disney, 1933). The Mail Pilot est un court métrage réalisé par Dave Hand qui s'est avéré être l'un des premiers dessins animés théâtraux de Mickey Mouse les plus populaires. Mickey le pilote du courrier se voit confier un coffre d'argent. Il combat la pluie et la neige, mais sa plus grande bataille est contre Pete, qui a un avion équipé d'une mitrailleuse et d'un canon à harpon. L'avion de Mickey perd rapidement ses ailes et son hélice au profit de l'armement de Pete, mais il improvise une pale d'hélicoptère avec un étendoir à linge, puis, quand cela cède, un accessoire de remplacement d'un moulin à vent. The Mail Pilot Mickey Mouse Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1933). The Mail Pilot is a Dave Hand-directed short that has proven to be one of the most popular early Mickey Mouse theatrical cartoons. Mickey the mail pilot is entrusted with a chest of money. He battles rain and snow, but his biggest battle is against Pete, who has a plane equipped with a machine gun and a harpoon cannon. Mickey's plane quickly loses its wings and propeller to Pete's armaments, but he improvises a helicopter blade with a clothes-drying rack, then, when that gives way, a replacement prop from a windmill. At this point, Pete harpoons him, and Mickey drags Pete through a bell tower, demolishing Pete's plane. Mickey delivers the money to Minnie and brings Pete to the authorities. We have a wonderful vintage drawing of Mickey as the mail pilot after he lands his plane. You will see this image around the 6:50 time mark. The image measures 10" x 3.5" including the rope. The piece was rendered in graphite on 12 field 2-peghole animation paper. The piece is in a 16.5" x 14" frame. Frame sold as-is. Mild paper toning due to aging. Very Good condition.
