    Description

The Mail Pilot Mickey Mouse Animation Drawings Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1933). Peg Leg Pete is an air pirate bent on taking down Mickey's mail plane using a harpoon in this scene that begins around the 6:00 mark. This pair of early production drawings of Pete and Mickey in their planes are rendered in graphite on 12 field 2-peghole animation paper and are numbered 103 and 11 respectively. These drawings, from the climactic conclusion of this Silly Symphony short, are finely detailed and date to the days when the world was mesmerized by anything having to do with aviation. Both display handling and light edge wear; otherwise, condition is Very Good.
