Description

The Mail Pilot Mickey Mouse and Pete Animation Drawing Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1933). An outstanding pair of original 2-peghole animation drawings from one of Mickey's best black and white shorts. Directed by Dave Hand, the cartoon was released to theaters on 5/13/33. Both Mickey and Pete are in their planes; Mickey and his plane measures approximately 5.25" wide (not counting the trailing rope), and numbered 39, while Pete in his well-armed plane measures about 7", not including the puffs of exhaust smoke behind him, and is numbered 106 in the lower right. Both drawings are in graphite. There is a small tear through one of the pegholes in Pete's drawing, and both pages are slightly toned. Overall condition is Fine.
