The Little Mermaid Flounder and Ariel Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1989). "Ariel, it's me!" "Flounder, hurry up!" "You know I can't swim that fast!" "There it is, isn't it fantastic!" This is the opening dialogue between Flounder and Ariel in the very first scene where we see King Triton's young daughter, the title character in this modern classic. This is an outstanding hand-painted production cel from this scene of both Ariel the Little Mermaid, and her best friend Flounder. Image sizes are 2" and 5". This was the last Disney feature animation film to use hand-painted production cels. Cels of Ariel, of this quality, are becoming harder and harder to find. The cel is on a matching scene print background for presentation purposes. Matted with an opening of 15" x 9", framed with Plexiglas for an overall size of 24" x 18". Cel has a Disney seal on it, and a Disney COA on the back of the frame. Frame is sold as-is; cel condition is Very Good.
