The Little Mermaid Ariel Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1988). "Well look what the catfish dragged in! There's something different? Don't tell me... I GOT IT! It's your hairdo, right? You've been using the dinglehopper, right?" asks Scuttle to Ariel as he spots her on the beach. This is right after Ursula has transformed her into a human. She meets Eric on the beach shortly after, but alas, with no voice. Outstanding hand-painted 12 field production cel of Ariel from the beach scene. She is smiling, standing for the first time, on her own feet! The cel is on a print background for presentation purposes. Great image of Ariel measuring 6". Great facial expression on Ariel! This was the last Disney animated feature film to use hand-painted production cels. A Disney seal is on the cel and Disney COA is on back of frame. Framed with glass; matted with an opening size of 12" x 6" with an overall frame size of 22" x 17". Fine condition.
