DescriptionThe Lion King II: Simba's Pride Zira and Kovu Animation Drawings Group of 4 (Walt Disney, 1998). Here's a great assortment of original production drawings from Walt Disney sequel to the incredibly popular, The Lion King. The sequel centers around Simba and Nala's daughter, Kiara, who falls in love with Kovu, a male lion who was raised in a pride of Scar's followers. These are great images of Zira, the mother of Kovu. Apart from her total devotion to Scar and her desire to avenge him, Zira also shows a deep contempt for other animals and especially for hyenas. The drawings were rendered in graphite with blue pencil on 12 field animation paper. Very rare to find artwork from either of the Lion King films as they were not traditionally animated with cels. Included are two Certificate of Authenticity issued by Disney. Overall artwork condition is Fine.
