Description
The Jungle Book Mowgli and Elephant Production Cel (Walt Disney, 1967). Mowgli admires the procession of Colonel Hathi and his elephant "Dawn Patrol" in this original hand-painted production cel setup from Disney's adaptation of Kipling's Jungle Book. The 3-cel setup features a full-figure image of Mowgli who stands 4" tall with an elephants trunk entering the picture to the upper right and an overlay cel of grass in the lower right. All are over a print of the Key Master background which is also available as part of another lot in this auction. It's a wonderful image from this popular '60s Disney classic. The piece is under glass in a 22" x 18.5" frame with a mat opening of 15" x 11". It shows minor handling and condition is Very Good. Frame is sold as-is.Auction Info
