DescriptionThe Jungle Book 2 Key Master Background (Walt Disney, 2003). Here's a gorgeous background painting from The Jungle Book 2. Taking place some short time after the first film, Mowgli is in the Man Village, living with his adoptive parents and new little brother, Ranjan. He has become sweethearts with Shanti, the girl who lured Mowgli into the Man Village. This amazing painting shows the Temple Ruins where King Louie lived. Due to a legal dispute, the character of King Louie from the original Jungle Book could not be included in this film. However, he makes a non-physical appearance as a shadow puppet in the beginning of the film and is briefly mentioned in the middle of the film. The piece was hand-painted in gouache on 18" x 12" background board. The background come with a beautiful hand-painted cel overlay. A masterpiece all on its own! The background comes with a Certificate of Authenticity issued by Disney. Condition is Very Good.
