The Jetsons Rosey the Robot and George Jetson Production Cel Setup on Production Background (Hanna-Barbera, 1962). Rosie the Robot was first introduced in the very first episode of the very first season of The Jetsons and only appeared in two more of the original '60s shows. This is an original production cel setup of Rosie and George from Season 1 Episode 8 titled "Rosey's Boyfriend." The image of George can be seen at the 8:56 mark and Rosie at the 23:22 mark in the show. Both are hand-inked and hand-painted on a trimmed production cel. Rosey measures 5" tall and George 4.5". The setup is presented over a production background that appears in Season 1 Episode 2 "A Date with Jet Screamer" at the 5:31 mark (in reverse). This cel and background setup from two different shows works perfectly together and is sealed in a 10" x 13" mat with an opening of 7" x 9". The mat shows handling and pinholes top and bottom. Setups like this were given out as gifts from the studio and are extremely rare. Condition is Fine.
