The Jet Cage Granny and Tweety Original Production Cel Setup on Key Master Background (Warner Brothers, 1962). Granny reads a newspaper advertisement by Jet Age Technology who has invented a $12.95 Flying Bird-Cage, which would allow birds fly safely. Here is an incredibly rare, hand-inked, hand-painted production cel setup on its original Key Master hand-painted production background for the 1962 Friz Freleng-directed short The Jet Cage. It features a multi-cel setup over a matching background painted by legendary layout artist Hawley. Granny measures over 5" tall and Tweety is nearly 1" tall. The setup is matted and framed under glass with an opening of 7.5" x 9.5", in a 12" x 15" frame. Very little vintage Warner Brothers animation art exists today and Key Master setups are a collector's dream. The paint in Granny's hair, face, and arm has cracked and will require professional restoration; otherwise, condition is Good. From the June Foray Collection.
