The Incredible Mr. Limpet Ladyfish and Mr. Limpet Production Cel (Warner Brothers, 1964). "What if I told you I used to be a human being?" asks Henry Limpet, to which Ladyfish replies, "I don't care how terrible your past was, Limpet." Presented is a spectacular hand-inked and hand-painted original production cel from 1964's The Incredible Mr. Limpet. The animated sequences of this film were directed by the great Robert McKimson of Looney Tunes fame. This is a perfect shot depicting Ladyfish and Mr. Limpet who was famously performed by Don Knotts (1924-2006). The characters are large and centered on the 12 field cel, measuring 9.5" x 6". The cel itself shows minor handling wear with some tearing on the bottom edge and lower left corner. Additionally, there is some light paint damage on Ladyfish's eye. The cel is numbered 17 in the lower right, and a damaged label is on the bottom edge stating that this piece comes from the estate of the screenplay writer John C. Rose. Taped to a printed background for presentation purposes, the condition overall is Very Good.
