The Hockey Champ Donald Duck and Nephew Animation Drawings Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1939). Donald hits the ice in this wonderful original 12 field 5-peghole animation drawing, from the Jack King-directed short first shown on 4/28/39. One of his three nephews, holding his hockey stick high, is featured on the second drawing. Both are in graphite and red pencil with green pencil shadowing; Donald measures about 5", while the nephew is 4", not counting his stick. The drawings are numbered 43 and 57. Some light handling; overall Fine condition.
