Description

    The Hockey Champ Donald Duck and Nephew Animation Drawing Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1939). Pair of original 12 field 5-peghole animation drawings from this classic Jack King-directed short, first shown in theaters on 4/28/39. The first shows a triumphant Donald gliding along the ice, with a great full-figure graphite and green pencil image measuring 5". The second shows one of Donald's three nephews, looking as if he has just scored a goal; it's in graphite and green pencil with an image size of 6.5", including his hockey stick. The drawings are numbered 59 and 56 ½. Some minor edge wear and light handling; otherwise Fine condition.
