The Fox and the Hound Tod Production Cel Key Master Setup (Walt Disney, 1977).
The 24th animated feature film from the Walt Disney Studios tells the story of two unlikely friends, a red fox named Tod and a hound dog named Copper. The Fox and the Hound was produced by Walt's son-in-law, Ron Miller and one of "Walt's Nine Old Men," Wolfgang (Woolie) Reitherman. The film was released on July 10, 1981; at the time it was the most expensive animated film produced at $12M. From the film, we have an amazing Key Master setup of Tod. The cel was hand-painted on 16 field acetate and paired with the hand-painted matching background, making this one-of-a-kind Key Master setup very desirable. A mat measuring 19" x 16" is included in the lot; however, the cel is not affixed to the mat. The artwork is in Very Good condition.
