    Description

The Flintstones "The Buffalo Convention" Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble Production Cel Setup (Hanna-Barbera, 1962-64). Yabba-Dabba-Doozy! This is one of the best Flintstone setups we have ever come across. It is six layers of 12 field, hand-inked, hand-painted production cels on a hand-painted Master production background. The set-up features Fred and Barney in Fred's Car. They are in their "Loyal Order of the Water Buffalo Lodge #26" hats! This is from the October 26th, 1962 episode, "The Buffalo Convention." Their wives surprise them by jumping out of the cake at the lodge men's 3-day get-away. The car is 7" x 5". Fred and Barney inside the car are 3" to 3.5". All six layers are labeled as being from scene 93. The cel is placed on a hand-painted Flintstones Master production background. The background is from the "Itty Bitty Freddy" episode that ran on October 10th, 1964. This episode featured Ed Sullystone. The background is marked "P-113 BG 124." In Fine condition.
