The Flintstones "Snorkasaurus Hunter" Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble Storyboard (Hanna-Barbera, c. 1960-61). "You bet I do! Cancel my order... And his, too!" "But Fred--" "Somebody's got to put his foot down sometimes!" Here is a an incredibly rare pair of original storyboard drawings from the 18th episode of the very first season of The Flintstones, "Snorkasaurus Hunter." This episode aired on 1/27/61, and it tells the story of Fred Flintstone as he turns his vacation into a hunting trip to save money on escalating meat prices at the grocery store. Seen at the 2:53 mark of the episode, this sequence of storyboards rendered in graphite is word-for-word and shot-for-shot with the final product, barring the subtle difference in character design. Rendered in graphite, these expressive drawings show minor handling and edge wear with a small tear in the upper right corner, and they show light smudging and debris. They are framed under Plexiglas with a mat window size of 12.75" x 5.75" with an overall frame size of approximately 19" x 12". The condition is Good. Frame sold as is.
