The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas Triceratops Maquette (Universal, 2000). Viva Rock Vegas was the prequel the the 1994 hit feature film The Flintstones. Starring a whole new cast, it documented the early days of young Fred, Wilma, Barney and Betty. Just as in the original animated series of the '60s, Fred's bone-headed schemes for a fast buck get the better of him. In the original script for this film, he finds himself participating in a bull fight with a triceratops in order win back his gambling losses. Presented here is an original one-of-a-kind maquette created for this scene by the legendary Jim Henson's Creature Shop in London. It measures 11" x 7" x 20" and is hand-painted. It stands on a 12" x 24" x .5" base that bears an official Jim Henson's Creature Shop badge. The scene for this character was ultimately cut from the film making this one-of-a-kind piece created by one of the world's most renowned and innovative creative effects companies as rare as they come. Minor handling and some scrapes to the paint along the spine. Condition is Very Good
