    Description

The Flintstones First Season Layout Production Drawing by Dick Bickenbach (Hanna-Barbera, 1960). Here it is, the family home of the Flintstones, from the first prime-time animated series to hit the American airwaves, back in 1960. Based loosely on Jackie Gleason's The Honeymooners, the show took modern-day situations and everyday items, and converted them to a Stone-Age setting, with great success. This historic drawing of Fred and Wilma's Bedrock home is drawn in graphite on 12-field animation paper, with a "TV screen" oval sketched in blue pencil. "Daybreak Dawn" is noted in the lower right corner, and "Layout" has been erased in the upper right. The famous Flintstones mailbox is front and center. Very Good condition.
